Lightweight, durable, and purpose-built, the Plastic & Leather Strop offers a modern take on a classic sharpening tool. The handle is 3D-printed using HT-PLA-GF (High-Temperature Polylactic Acid, Glass Fiber Reinforced), then annealed post-print to improve strength and heat resistance. The result is a stiff, lightweight platform that holds its shape while remaining easy to maneuver during long stropping sessions.
Like its aluminum counterpart, this strop features vegetable-tanned cowhide leather sized for practical sharpening use and designed for diamond emulsion compounds, like Stroppy Stuff. The leather is permanently bonded but fully replaceable once worn, making this a long-term tool rather than a disposable accessory.
The handle design naturally positions your fingers away from the blade’s edge, adding a layer of safety without compromising control. As a bonus, the PLA material is biodegradable in landfill conditions, making this strop a more environmentally conscious option without sacrificing performance. A smart, efficient choice for everyday sharpening and travel setups alike.

Cleaning & Maintenance
If you plan to switch compounds or if the strop becomes contaminated, cleaning is recommended to maintain consistent performance.
Start by wiping the leather surface with a paper towel to remove excess compound. For deeper cleaning, a white vinyl eraser can be used to lift most remaining compound and is safe for the leather.
If additional cleaning is needed, 70% isopropyl alcohol may be used sparingly. Lightly spray the alcohol onto a towel and gently wipe the leather surface.
Do not soak the strop. Allow the leather to fully air dry before applying a new compound.
Do not soak the strop in water.
Do not use harsh solvents such as acetone, brake cleaner, or lacquer thinner, as these will damage the leather and adhesive.
Proper care will extend the life of the leather and ensure reliable stropping results over time.

The Hybrid Bond Diamond Sharpening Stone is built for those who demand precision, consistency, and long-term performance. Featuring true diamond abrasive set in an advanced hybrid bond, this stone delivers fast, controlled cutting with a refined scratch pattern across a wide range of steels. Finished with our exclusive NKC Burnt Steel color backing, these stones feature a rugged, heat-worn tone that reflects the durability and performance they’re built to deliver.
The hybrid bond is a carefully engineered blend of resins and metallic components, designed to strike the perfect balance between cutting performance and durability. It behaves closer to a softer bond for improved polishing and feedback, while maintaining higher wear resistance than traditional resin-bond stones. The result is a stone that cuts efficiently, finishes clean, and holds up over time.
Diamond abrasives provide aggressive material removal and deep cutting ability, making this stone highly effective for everything from reprofiling to refining edges. Whether you're working on everyday users or high-HRC powder steels, this stone delivers consistent, reliable performance.
Key Features and Benefits:
True Diamond Abrasive:
• Uses diamond abrasive for aggressive, consistent cutting
• Excellent for a wide range of steels, including high-alloy and high-HRC blades
• Delivers deep, efficient material removal

The DMT Universal Stone Holder is built to lock your sharpening setup in place so you can focus on the edge, not chasing your stone across the table. Whether you're running diamond plates, water stones, or hybrid stones, this holder keeps everything planted and predictable.
The adjustable design allows it to fit a wide range of stone sizes, making it a versatile base for just about any sharpening setup. Once tightened down, it holds firm without flex, giving you consistent pressure and control through every stroke.
Rubber feet on the base grip the work surface and prevent movement, even during aggressive reprofiling. The frame itself is simple, durable, and built to take abuse without becoming a weak point in your system.
If you're serious about sharpening, this is one of those foundational pieces that makes everything else perform better.

Machined for stability and consistency, the Aluminum & Leather Strop is built for users who want absolute control during final edge refinement. The handle is CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, giving it a substantial, premium feel in hand and exceptional flatness across the stropping surface. The added weight helps the strop stay planted, allowing for steady, repeatable passes without flex or chatter.
The stropping surface uses vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, bonded with industrial-grade adhesive for long-term durability. It’s sized for real sharpening workflows, and is optimized for diamond emulsion compounds, like Stroppy Stuff. When the leather eventually wears, it can be cleanly peeled off and replaced, extending the life of the strop indefinitely.
Thoughtful handle geometry keeps your fingers safely away from the blade edge while stropping, making this a reliable choice for both experienced sharpeners and those refining their technique. Built to last, built to perform, and built to stay flat.
