Lightweight, durable, and purpose-built, the Plastic & Leather Strop offers a modern take on a classic sharpening tool. The handle is 3D-printed using HT-PLA-GF (High-Temperature Polylactic Acid, Glass Fiber Reinforced), then annealed post-print to improve strength and heat resistance. The result is a stiff, lightweight platform that holds its shape while remaining easy to maneuver during long stropping sessions.
Like its aluminum counterpart, this strop features vegetable-tanned cowhide leather sized for practical sharpening use and designed for diamond emulsion compounds, like Stroppy Stuff. The leather is permanently bonded but fully replaceable once worn, making this a long-term tool rather than a disposable accessory.
The handle design naturally positions your fingers away from the blade’s edge, adding a layer of safety without compromising control. As a bonus, the PLA material is biodegradable in landfill conditions, making this strop a more environmentally conscious option without sacrificing performance. A smart, efficient choice for everyday sharpening and travel setups alike.

Cleaning & Maintenance
If you plan to switch compounds or if the strop becomes contaminated, cleaning is recommended to maintain consistent performance.
Start by wiping the leather surface with a paper towel to remove excess compound. For deeper cleaning, a white vinyl eraser can be used to lift most remaining compound and is safe for the leather.
If additional cleaning is needed, 70% isopropyl alcohol may be used sparingly. Lightly spray the alcohol onto a towel and gently wipe the leather surface.
Do not soak the strop. Allow the leather to fully air dry before applying a new compound.
Do not soak the strop in water.
Do not use harsh solvents such as acetone, brake cleaner, or lacquer thinner, as these will damage the leather and adhesive.
Proper care will extend the life of the leather and ensure reliable stropping results over time.

The Shiv is Neeve Knife Co.’s first fixed blade, and it shows up like it has something to prove. Compact, precise, and purpose-built, this 6.2-inch performer is everything you’d expect from Jerad Neeve’s design language brought into a fixed blade format.
A 2.6-inch Nitro-V blade, heat treated to 62 HRC, gives the Shiv impressive edge retention while still offering the toughness you want in a blade. The hollow-ground harpoon profile adds slicing performance with a bit of attitude, paired with a belt-satin finish that keeps things clean and functional.
Natural brown canvas micarta scales bring that warm, grippy feel that gets better with age, secured with peened brass pins for a classic, no-nonsense look. The Shiv rides in a custom-fit Kydex sheath with a soft belt loop, giving you multiple carry options without adding bulk.
Handmade in the USA by Waxed Wing Knives, this is a fixed blade that punches way above its size. Whether you’re opening boxes, breaking down materials, or running it as a lightweight EDC companion, the Shiv is designed to disappear on the belt and shine in the hand. Additional Shiv releases are scheduled.

The SHANK is a true small batch collaboration brought to life through three sets of hands.
Designed and hand sharpened by Jerad Neeve, heat treated by Steve Callari, and built by Ryan Mezzetti, this fixed blade represents months of work, refinement, and coordination.
At its core is CPM CruWear hardened to 65 HRC, custom heat treated to push performance without sacrificing stability. Each blade is sharpened by Jerad at 15° per side to 5,000 grit, then stropped to a razor apex. The result is a crisp, aggressive edge with excellent bite and edge integrity.
The compact harpoon profile delivers a precise, claw-like tip without recurve, giving you strong piercing ability and excellent control in a pinch grip. The jimping is intentionally aggressive yet comfortable, locking your thumb in without tearing it up.
Handle variants feature premium combinations of blue twill carbon fiber, side cut carbon fiber, G-10, and crosscut micarta. Each knife ships in a hand-stitched leather sheath, color-matched to the handle materials and fitted with a metal clip interface and internal G-10 retention insert for secure carry.
This project took 8–10 months to complete. The knife and sheath required extensive handwork, material sourcing, custom machining, heat treatment, sharpening, and finishing. It has passed through multiple skilled hands to become what it is, the SHANK.
